Series E2C.15 ESD - Chain non-openable

E2?micro ESD e-chains? are very small, one-piece and two-piece e-chains? with a low weight and are therefore ideal for highly dynamic applications. E2 ESD micro e-chains? are strong and in many version available. igus? also offers a host of accessories and fixation options.

Series E2C.15 ESD is suitable for the following types of applications:

Horizontal: Unsupported applications

When to use Series E2C.15 ESD

When a small e-chain? with 15mminner height and small pitch is required
For inner widths up to 30mm
When a large range of modular components is required
When long unsupported lengths and high fill weights in a small e-chain? are required
Quiet operation due to small pitch

When not to use Series E2C.15 ESD

When an enclosed e-tube is required

Unsupported length

The unsupported length depends on fill weight
X axis: unsupported length in m FLB/FLG
Y axis: fill weight in kg/m
Lower scale: travel S in m
FLB = unsupported with permissible sag
FLG = unsupported with straight upper run

Reference example A:
fill weight = 0.75 [kg/m]
unsupported length FLB = 0.78 m
travel = 1.55 m

The diagrams for unsupported lengths apply to standard e-chains? made of igumid?GLW material. The values can also be used for assessing e-chain? applications in ESD special material. If the respective maximum unsupported length exceeds 80%, the suitability of the e-chain? should be verified by a practical test.

can be placed anywhere in the chain's cross-section to divide the interior of the e-chain? - As standard, separators are fitted at every 2nd chain link!

Note: For the E2C.15, install the interior separation before assembling the e-chain?!

For easy vertical separation in energy chains. Slot in the separator enables vertical/horizontal separation. No snap-in option, moves freely.

Recommended if many small cables with similar or same diameters are used. For full-width separation.
